Ottawa, ON - Ottawa Fury FC today unveiled the club’s 2017 preseason camp schedule ahead of their debut campaign in the USL. Following entry medicals held at TD Place from February 1-3, the team will take part in its first training session at the RA Centre the following Monday, February 6. The club will train daily at the RA Centre with the exception of a weeklong camp (February 19-26) at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida – the world’s foremost authority in athlete development.
“We’re excited to get the 2017 season underway. It has been a busy offseason building this team and we’ll have seven weeks to bring everyone together,” said Fury FC GM and Head Coach Paul Dalglish. “Five of our seven preseason fixtures come against USL opposition that will help ready us for the start of the season at the end of March.”
The club also announced a series of preseason games that will take place during training camp:
February 17 – vs Ottawa Internationals – University of Ottawa (Ottawa, ON)
February 21 – vs St. Louis FC – IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
February 23 – vs OKC Energy – IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
February 25 – vs FC Cincinnati – IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
March 3 – vs Toronto FC II – KIA Field (Toronto, ON)
March 10 – vs Rochester Rhinos – University of Ottawa (Ottawa, ON)
March 17 – vs Ontario League 1 All-Stars – University of Ottawa (Ottawa, ON)
