Saturday's are for soccer and Ottawa Fury FC. On Friday, the United Soccer League unveiled it's 2018 schedule featuring 561 contests over a 31-week regular season. The club's fifth season will begin Saturday, March 17 in Charlotte against the Independence with the home opener coming five weeks later on Saturday, April 21 against North Carolina FC. Fury FC will close out the regular season at TD Place on Saturday, October 13 against the Charleston Battery.

"We are building a squad full of skills, character, passion and a thirst for success and are committed to bringing exciting soccer our fans will be proud to support. We cannot wait to get the 2018 season started and fight for the success we are after."
Ottawa will face a grueling five-game road trip to start the season with stops in Charlotte (March 17), North Carolina (March 21), Toronto (March 31), Tampa Bay (April 7) and Pittsburgh (April 14).
When Fury FC host NCFC in their home opener on April 21, it will mark the beginning of eight of the next 10 games at TD Place spanning from mid-April through mid-June. June will also feature fixtures in the Canadian Championship as Fury FC eyes a rematch with reigning Champions Toronto FC.
A four-game road stretch leading into July will conclude with a July 4 match in Indianapolis as Fury FC and Indy Eleven renew their rivalry. Ottawa will then play four straight at home including a match against USL newcomers Nashville SC on July 21.
The month of August will be Ottawa's most important month on the calendar with seven games in a 28-day span with four of the fixtures coming at TD Place.
Following a four-game road trip with stops in New York, Toronto, Richmond and Louisville, Fury FC will wrap up the regular season at home against the Bethlehem Steel (September 30) and the Charleston Battery (October 13).
Ottawa currently has four pre-season contests scheduled in February with local fixtures against Gloucester Celtic (February 10), Ottawa Internationals (February 16) and the nationally ranked Carleton University Ravens (February 27) in closed-door matches. Fury FC will meet Nashville SC in a pre-season match on February 23 at IMG Academy as part of their week-long training camp in Bradenton, Florida.
