Fury squad visits Cumberland United SC at Giant Tiger Community Practice

By Ottawa Fury FC, 07/11/18, 5:30PM EDT

On Tuesday evening, the entire Fury squad and Sparky traveled out to Millennium Park to visit over 200 youth players from Cumberland United Soccer Club (U9 and U12) at our Giant Tiger Community Practice.

We held a mini 5-v-5 tournament that had all the kids smiling and having fun playing footy. Giant Tiger and their mascot Friendly the Tiger offered free face painting too!

And as usual, the lads had just as much, if not more, fun spending time with all the kids.

"It's a great feeling to be out in the community, see all the support and to be able to give back, " Carl Haworth explains. "And to give young footballers something to work towards, so they can one day represent their city."

This event is just one of the many that Fury FC are involved in throughout the season as part of our commitment to the growth of soccer in our community.
